OUR MEETINGS
We meet on the first, third, and fourth Wednesdays of the month at Ledo Pizza. We start at 6 p.m. with a Happy Half Hour, followed at 6:30 by a business meeting, speaker, and dinner. Our speakers included politicians, entrepreneurs, CEOs of non-profits, and fellow Rotarians, who inspire us with their dedication to service. We welcome new ideas and are open to collaborating with other community organizations.
SPEAKER: Dr. Ruth White
Co-Founder and CEO, National Center for Housing and Child Welfare
Dr. White gave an impassioned presentation on NCHCW's innovation programs to "bridge the gap" for children between foster care and self-sufficiency.
SPEAKER: Dr. Geetha Jayarum
Dr. Jayaram was our speaker and guest of honor at the October 27 meeting. Dr. Jayaram, a lifelong Rotarian, inspired us with her theme of "The 4Ms of Rotary: Membership, Marketing, Mothers, and Modernization." We hosted the Rotary Club of Greenbelt and the Prince George's Rotary Club.
